SUNY at Albany Admissions
Specific admissions requirements to a SUNY campus vary with the campus and with the program. The doctoral granting institutions are the most selective, with the SAT scores for the middle 50% generally over 1100 and high school grades for the middle 50% in the B+ range. Most campuses (51 out of 64) accept the same application; the application fee is $40 for each campus. Empire State College, 8 of the community colleges, and programs at Cornell, Stony Brook, and the College of Optometry have their own application.
